Stage IA and IB mycosis fungoides-type cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (MF-CTCL) is difficult to identify. Undiagnosed MF-CTCL patients often experience years of skin-directed treatments.1 In fact, the majority of these patients have been using topical corticosteroids prior to diagnosis.2,3 The path to diagnosis can take months or years,4 and early diagnosis is important.
